Terms and conditions


I. Initial conditions and provisions.

 

1. Antiquitatis Memoria Travel declares that holds all the required documents that entitle Antiquitatis Memoria Travel to organize tourist events in accordance with the requirements of the Act of Tourist Services from 29th August 1997 with later changes.

 

2. Antiquitatis Memoria Travel holds the permission number Z/66/2008 issued by the Marshal of the Malopolska Voivodeship that certifies that:

 

a) if Memoria Travel doesn’t provide the services contained in the contract, the client will be given back the money paid for the trip

 

b) if Memoria Travel doesn’t provide transportation back to the clients’ country (if it is included in the contract), such service is provided

 

3. The above mentioned collaterals are certified by a quarantee number 1505/WA/183/2009 valid from 17th November 2009 until 16th November 2010 issued by the insurance company TUW TUZ.

The Marshal of the Malopolska Voivodeship is the guarantee beneficiary.

 

4. Antiquitatis Memoria Travel insures its clients in:

- the scope of insurance:

 

* costs of treatment, transportation and repatriation  20 000 EUR

              - outpatient treatment 1 500 EUR

              - dental treatment 100 EUR

              - costs of funeral abroad 2 500 EUR

 

            * against accidents

               - in virtue of a detriment to health – 40 000 PLN

               - death – 5 000 PLN

 

             * luggage – 2 000 PLN

 

             

* civil liability

               - personal injury 50 000 EUR

               - damage to property 25 000 EUR

 

The participants of the trip are covered by insurance only on the territory of the Republic of Poland.

 

 

II. The registration for the tourist event.

 

1. The registration for the trips organized by Antiquitatis Memoria Travel is done by email between Antiquitatis Memoria Travel and the client after all the details of the trip are arranged.

The final confirmation of the tourist event is done by email.

 

2. Clients can read about the events organized by Antiquitatis Memoria Travel on the website www.memoria.travel.pl

 

3. Antiquitatis Memoria Travel guarantees that all information will be treated in the strictest confidence and used only by Antiquitatis Memoria Travel.

 

4. Antiquitatis Memoria Travel provides before the event all the necessary information about the event the client should know to participate without problems.

 

5. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

 

 

III. The conditions of payment.

 

1. The price for the event is established with the client on individual basis after all the details are arranged.

If the client takes part in a tour with already given price, they accept the price.

 

2. The price doesn’t change if the program and arrangements of the event don’t change.

 

3. Full payment is required 14 days before the beginning of the tour.

 

4. Before payment Antiquitatis Memoria Travel will send an email with pre-invoice.

 

5. The payment can be made by international bank transfer. All the data will be sent after booking the tour.

 

6. The bank transfer costs will be supported by the client.

 

7. After payment Antiquitatis Memoria Travel will send the confirmation of the payment.

 

8. Antiquitatis Memoria Travel doesn’t accept credit cards.

 

9. Invoices for the events organized by Antiquitatis Memoria Travel are issued in PLN.

 

 

IV. The cancellation of the reservation.

 

1. The client can cancel the event without specifying the reasons. Notice of cancellation must be made in writing three working days prior to the event at the latest.

 

2. The fee for cancellation is as follows:

- 40 days prior to the departure – 25% off the total price (the cost of the

  accommodation)

 

3. If the client would like to resign from the event they can appoint another person and is obliged to inform Antiquitatis Memoria Travel about it in writing at least 3 working days prior to the event.

 

4. The appointed person is required to contact with Antiquitatis Memoria Travel in writing and confirm the registration for the event.

 

5. People over 18 years of age can be appointed as new participants.

 

6. If Antiquitatis Memoria Travel cancels the tour for any reason the client will receive full refund.

 

 

V. Complaints.

 

1. The client has a privilege to make a complaint if they decide that Antiquitatis Memoria Travel hasn’t covered all the arrangements from the contract.

 

2. The complaint should be made in writing 30 days after the end of the event at the latest.

 

3. The complaint should contain a detailed description of irregularity.

 

4. Antiquitatis Memoria Travel is obliged to inform the client about its decision at least 30 days after the complaint was made.

 

 

 

VI. Changes of prices and tourist events.

 

1. Antiquitatis Memoria Travel reserves the right to cancel the event for the reasons beyond our control like: the case of state authorities’ decisions, unforeseeable circumstances, independent of any other actions, life catastrophes, strikes, onset of war or other situations that make it impossible for the realization of the service as agreed.

 

2. As the compensation, the client can participate in the substitute event they choose which is of the same value of money.

 

3. The client can change the date of the event seven days prior to its beginning, on the condition that it will be possible that to organize the event in the new time at a price that shall apply then.

 

 

VII. Additional conditions.

 

1. The client is obliged to be on time in the arranged meeting point.

 

2. The clients are obliged to observe terms and conditions of the visited places.

 

3. Clients who are under the influence of alcohol and drugs cannot participate in the event.

 

 

 

VIII. Responsibility, losses, damages.

 

1. The client is liable for all the damages that are done during the event by themselves or people who are under their authority. The client is responsible to immediately pay for the damages.

 

2. Antiquitatis Memoria Travel is not responsible if the arrangements are not covered if:

a) it happens because of the client’s actions or omissions

b) it happens because of actions or omissions of other people who don’t take part in the event and whose actions were impossible to foresee

c) it happens because of the forces beyond our control

 

3.  Regardless of the above Antiquitatis Memoria Travel is obliged to do everything to help the injured client.

 

IX Final conclusions.

 

1. Any matter not specifically agreed in the Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the provisions of Tourist Services Act and the Civil Code.

 

2. Any disputes arising in connection with this Terms and Conditions shall be resolved by the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure.
